Pull-up banners are a staple for every promotional team: lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to transport. But after the event ends, where do they go? Most often, they’re pushed to the back of a storage cupboard, forgotten—until now.
The Branding Business has launched The Banner Bank, an innovative solution that allows clients to reuse their existing banners instead of purchasing new ones. The Branding Business will securely store clients used banners in their Brisbane warehouse, and when required these banners will be pulled by the in-house print team, reskinned with fresh artwork, and dispatched to the required location.
“The pilot program has been an outstanding success,” said Director Darryl Watherston. “We currently hold over 250 banners on behalf of our clients. Many were surprised to discover how many they had lying around—and even more surprised that they could be reused.”
Since its inception, the program has reskinned more than 200 banners, preventing over 500kg of waste from going to landfill. Additionally, the initiative has helped clients reduce their banner costs by approximately 40%.
This sustainable, cost-effective approach highlights how simple, creative solutions can make a significant environmental and financial impact. The Branding Business is proud to lead the charge in reducing waste and helping clients make the most of their resources.
